Where: NIH Natcher Conference Center (Building 45) Bethesda, MD Why: This forum will address the research needs and scientific opportunities to develop and apply biomarkers for safety and efficacy evaluations of novel disease interventions. The meeting will emphasize the application of fundamental biology and emerging technologies for clinical assessment. Presentations will focus on concepts and approaches for the use of biomarkers in early drug development and as surrogate endpoints in clinical trials.
