摘要：Bilateral facial palsy is mostly idiopathic (Bell’s). Melkersson Rosenthal syndrome can also present with bilateral sudden onset facial palsy associated with facial oedema. Such cases may be associated with sarcoidosis. The purpose of this paper is to report a single case of Melkersson Rosenthal syndrome presenting with bilateral facial palsy and to discuss some aspects of Bell’s palsy as related to bilateral paralysis of facial nerve.
