摘要：This article discusses the productive performance of the
27 sectors of the Rio Grande do Sul, applying the methodology
designed Data Analysis Envelopment (DEA). The data was
obtained from input-output tables and economics accounts of the
State for the year 1998, supplied by the Fundação de Economia e
Estatística (FEE). The results indicate which sectors have an higher
efficiency in the transformation of capital (input) in more capital
(output), orienting the economic agents in their continuum search
for the best factors allocation and, also can be used in other studies about dynamic growth, overcoming the static analysis of
the input-output approach.
