摘要：Biological and morphological aspects of Marpesia petreus (Lepidoptera, Nymphalidae, Limenitidinae)
The development cycle of the butterfly Marpesia petreus (Cramer, 1776) was characterized, by using Ficus pumila (Moraceae) as host plant. This species has large geographical distribution, occurring from South EUA to Argentina. The egg, larva and pupa phases were documented with morphometrical data and behavior pattern.
