摘要：Praying mantids (Insecta, Mantodea) registered in Rio Grande do Sul, Brazil
With the purpose of knowing the ocurrences of praying mantids in the Rio Grande do Sul, a list of
the species was elaborated according to Terra’s (1995) classification. The list was based on literature
and specimens deposited in the collections of the State. Eighty nine species were listed, 19 of those are
new records.
