摘要：This article has as objective to present the model AGA-Sign, an animator of gestures applied
to the Sign Languages, developed for applications directed to the special education, in particular, to the
education of deaf people. For the representation of signs is used the writing system of sign languages
called SignWriting. In the examples shown in this work, the used signs belong to the LIBRAS - Brazilian
Sign Language, the gestual language used by Brazilian deaf people, but the system applies itself to any
sign language, due to universality of the SignWriting. The AGA-Sign is based on the animation model
AGA, Graphic Animation based on Finite Automata, and on its specication language, the AgaML, of
which are presented the advantages of use.
