Sexual dimorphism of palatal rugae in children of the city of Cordova, Argentina
摘要：Some studies in palatal rugae showed morphologic differences between Australoid and Caucasoid populations, considering a distribution associated with ancestral groups. This work analyzes the relationship between the distribution of presence, form and relation of the palatal rugae with sex. 98 children (50 boys and 48 girls) of the city of Cordova (Argentina) were examined. The values allow us to observe that 18 palatoglyphic features have a high dimorphic value in this population.
