摘要：The problem of the relevance and the usefulness of extracting association rules are of primary importance because, in the majority of cases, the traditional association rule mining framework produce many redundant rules. In this paper, a new framework and method for extracting association rules based on concept lattice and the concept of closed itemsets is proposed. The number of non-redundant rules produced by the new approach is smaller than the rule set from the traditional approach. Experiments confirm the utility of the framework in terms of reduction in the number of rules, and in terms of time.
