摘要：In this work we present the conclusions obtained in a research
whose aim was to know the pro-environmental skills of division and
deposit of solid wastes. This work was performed after the
informative campaign carried out by the Town Council in M¨¢laga
and aimed to make the citizens aware of the advantages of
following such behaviours. The data belong to two years of
performance since the beginning of the campaign (academic
course 2003-2004 and 2004-2005). The sample is made up with
516 participants distributed in 10 districts of the city. The results
show that the context for the citizens in M¨¢laga is quite favourable
for the division and deposit of solid wastes if we exclude the
collection of batteries. Significant differences can also be found
among the districts of the city in favouring the recycling of solid
urban wastes depending on the skills of division and deposit of
these ones. On the other hand, it has been reported the existence
of great differences regarding sex, civil status, socioeconomic level,
studies carried out depending on the different variables analyzed
which give sense to the skills related to the recycling of urban
solids.
