摘要:Cognitive maps are considered as an interesting tool to understand
how people interact with their environment and how they manage
their dialy routes. When processing environmental information,
sorroundings features, subjective experience of the environment,
and individual cognitive and affective mechanisms have an
influence on its meaning and performance on it.. The present study
tests the influence of self efficacy on the creative processes
developed on a sketch map across promotion and prevention
conditions. One hundred forty five undergraduate students
collaborated in this study. Participants completed a questionnaire
about their perception of ability to generate effectively sketch
maps in different situations. Participants performed the same
sketch task, but they received different additional framing
instructions. They were assigned to one of four framing conditions.
As we predicted, subjects working in a promotion plus prevention
condition developed better representations of their cognitive maps:
legibility and accuracy levels.
