摘要:The major impact on our life of the last quarter-century is the digitization of virtually all aspects of life - something Negroponte has called the “change of atoms into bits and pixels”[1]. However, for the generation born after 1980 the digital world is even more present and pervasive than for the rest of us, for them it is the only world they know. They are the ‘digital ones' or the ‘N-Gen – Net Generation’ [2]: children or teenagers who have lived all their lives in a changing but (from their perspective) a predominantly digital world. Significantly, most students in higher education now belong to this group. We identify these students as a special group due to its characteristics [3] and we consider that this community has different learning habits.
