摘要：The origin of a high dark-pulse rate from the 1879 KamLAND 17-inch and 20-inch inner detector photo-multipliers is discussed. The observed phenomenon may play an important role in the proposed next generation of large scintillator detectors such as LENA in Europe and HANOHANO in the United States.
