摘要：The lattice index theorem for thick classical centre vortices with traces of plaquettes deviating
at most by 1.5% from trivial plaquettes is investigated. For non-orientable spherical vortices, the
index of the overlap Dirac operator differs from the topological charge defined by a lattice version
of F ˜F. The reason is the singular nature of the corresponding continuum gauge field.
