摘要:This work is an exercise of union between the sciences of information and of communication. A robust methodology and tools of bibliometric analysis are used to monitor organization communication processes, to evaluate communication campaigns and the production of press releases to the editor's preferences. This would not be possible without the acquisition of intelligence on the media to determinate its trends through the analysis of its production, the themes preferred by each vehicle and the behavior of their editors.
The function of clipping, following what the Press is publishing is present in organizations of the five continents, the integration of the function of analysis by the creation of the Clipping database is the differential presented by this work. Similar bases, make possible to carry out prospective studies on the historical evolution of a topic, a product, a politician or a company in the media and to facilitate activities of monitoring the environment, competitors or a whole sector of the economy.
