摘要：The Coping Multifactor Inventory for Adolescents (CMIA-43) was originally elaborated by Antoniazzi (2000) and its psychometric properties evaluated with a sample of 15-30 years. This work talks back the previous study and uses a sample of 285 adolescents (132 males and 153 females), age ranged from 13 to 18 years-old. Data analyses were made with exploratory factor analysis and internal consistence. Final solution had three factors (Direct Actions, Social Support and Negation) of the four that composes the CMIA-43. The fourth factor (Self-control) was reduced to another, called Aggressive Actions. All factors presented a satisfactory index of intern consistence. Data analyses demonstrated that CMIA-43 results showed an almost stable factor structure. However, further studies are needed to refine this instrument.
