摘要：The values adopted by the individuals tend to present an explaining relation with the Subjective Well-Being (SWB). In this way, this study has a objective to verify if the personal, social and central valorative criteria can predict the SWB of 609 students of a public university in Paraiba. It was used the folowing scales – Life Satisfaction, Life Areas, Affection and Basic Human Values (BHV) – and biodemographical questions, observing all ethical norms, applied through a standard procedure. According to the results, the personal and social criteria tend to subtly predict the SWB, while the central criteria doesn’t predict at all. So, the values only predict the SWB if analyzed isollatedly (social and personal). The discussion about the results can be found along the article.
