摘要：The present article focuses the assessment and analysis of a series of difficulties within action research projects which occur in the context of extreme suffering, taking as an example the work carried out with multifamily groups which include children and adolescents victims of sexual abuse in Capital of Brazil. Thus, it aims at surfacing serious and conflicting issues concerning the relationship among the institutions involved, daily practice, integration among different academic knowledge fields and also subjective aspects which determine the kind of action and result found in that type of research.
