摘要：The Neutron Emission Ratio Observer (NERO), has been constructed for use at the National
Superconducting Cyclotron Laboratory to work in conjunction with the NSCL Beta Counting
System BCS [1] in order to detect β-delayed neutrons. The design of the detector provides high
and flat efficiency for a wide range of neutron energies, as well as a low neutron background.
