摘要：We review fluctuation and correlation analysis methods at the SPS and RHIC. We identify basic
issues of fluctuation measure design. We show that fluctuation scale dependence is related to
angular autocorrelations by an integral equation. We discuss the optimum projection of twoparticlemomentum
space to 2D subspaces with minimal distortion.We list mechanisms currently
known to produce number and pt correlations. We conclude with comments on several current
measure designs.
