摘要:The present paper presents the results of research carried out in three Brazilian educa-tional organizations that have obtained recognition for their programs targeted at adolescents and with the goal of violence prevention and/or promotion of a culture of peace. The analysis units adopted was the discourses of adolescents that participated in those three programs, obtained through five focus groups. Twelve programmatic emphasis were common in the studied organizations. The trajectory of each of the programs’ participants is described, from their arrival at the educational organization and throughout their learning and re-signification that mark their experience. The article proposes the recognition of a new social role that adolescents can assume regarding the phenomenon of violence, one of peace promoter.
