摘要:Rousseau sketches in Émile a project of natural education for his fictional
pupil, thinking his moral-cognitive development in different stages and ages, and casting
specific situations and problems for them. The article concentrates on reflecting about
the problems that arise in the first childhood, by considering the tension between the
child’s needs and the adult’s cares as a constituent core of the natural education content
assigned by Rousseau to the child’s first stage of development.
