摘要：¨C This article presents the bases supporting the Continuing Developmen
Program of the University of Vale do Itaja¨a, its goals and actions, and the results achieve
between 2001 and 2006. The program, which was created in 2000, seeks to develop a
reflective work on teaching practices and promote the search for new knowledge that
enables teachers to face questions that challenge them on a daily bases in their teaching
