摘要:¨C This paper deals with teaching and learning processes regarding ethnic
racial relations in Brazil. It calls attention to the challenges facing education of ethnic-
racial relations and the promotion of citizenship; it also attempts to situate historically
and ideologically the difficulties educators have to confront to teachAfrican and Afro-
Brazilian history and cultures.
