摘要:CThe present article deals with important elements concerned being a teacher, the interpersonal
relationships set at the school environment and the relation with self-knowledge, self-esteem, self-image and
the motivational processes. Some considerations about teacher!ˉs motivation were made from studies an
researches developed with public and private institution teachers in Porto Alegre between 2006 and 2007. It
seems that the continued education given by the self-knowledge workshops contribute significantly to
increase the motivation and to promote the teacher!ˉs well-being
