摘要：The objective is focused on the drainage system in the area of lnner Bangkok, the capital of
Thailand. Networks of water flow in the canals and are summarised to optimise the energy costs,
maintenancea, nd installationc osts.T his paper formulatest he drainages ystemo f five sub-networks
into mathematicalm odelsw ith a principal of Kirchhoff s laws. Operationalr esearcht echniquesa re
then used to find the optimal flow paths which lead to a suitable number of pumps in each station.
However,s omen odeso r pumping stationsa re excludedf rom the models.F luid mechanicsis applied
to measuret he flow pressurein thosen odes.T he resultsr eflectedi mprovede xpensesc omparedw ith
the past.F inally, the investigationo n the changeo fflow channelc haracteristicssu cha s deptho fcanal
by silt and flow directionsa re summarisedo n the effect of the pump capacityv ia studieso f sensitivity
and the design of experiments.
