摘要：Nagoya High Court`s criminal first division (presiding Judge
Junichi Koide, Judge Osamu Itoh and Judge Takayoshi Iwai)
decided that the retrial of the “Nabari Poisoned Wine Case”
should be reopened, and that the execution of Masaru
Okunishi, who had been found guilty and sentenced to death
for the crime, should be stayed, on the 5th day of April, 2005.
Okunishi was 35 years old when the murder case initially
took place. He is now 79 years old, having lived most of his
life in the Nagoya detention house, in fear of execution, repeatedly
appealing for his acquittal of the crime that he did
not commit.
