Political demonstrations have become during the last years in Venezuela a usual phenomenon. Demonstrations, meetings, the rumbling sound of empty pans (so-called "cacerolazos"), and street obstruction has been some of these manifestations. Their dimensions and innovative forms of expression require its understanding and study. For this, my aim is to depict and characterized this political protest since 2001 to 2007. Data on forms and frequency of protest are provided essentially by PROVEA NGO.
