摘要:In this study, it is aimed to present a description of learning-teaching process in primary level
second grade. Classes were chosen from the schools with different achievement levels and were compared to
each other. Maximum variation sampling was employed by selecting a second grade class from each of the six
schools in centre of Ankara which have different levels and their teachers. In order to gather the data,
observation forms, interview forms and achievement tests were used. Qualitative data were analyzed by using
content analysis technique and the quantitative data were analyzed by one way ANOVA. The results provided
insights into the quality of instruction, the strategies and methods, classroom management, integration of
teaching materials, assessment procedures and overall achievement of the participants.
