摘要：The skeptical thinkers share similar political views. That fact strengths the skeptical interpretation of the borgean work that I have demonstrated in my doctoral dissertation and in several papers on the subject. In this paper I will study, first of all, the conservative attitude associated with the skeptical tradition; the borgean progressive conservatism; and, finally, the characteristics of the borgean thought that allow us to consider him as an “intellectual”, following the definition that Edward W. Said proposed in "Representations of the intellectual".
