摘要:José Javier Rodríguez Rodríguez, Dramatic types of the Renaissance bilingual farce the case of the Auto dos Enanos This article studies the Auto dos Enanos. After having placed the work in the tradition of the Portuguese bilingual (Spanish-Portuguese) theatre after Gil Vicente, it analyses its structure, characterized by the combination of a simple plot scheme, typical of the folk tale, and the complementary appearance of some comic and picturesque characters (the dwarfs, the Castilian, the Italian wise woman, the country men and the fool) whose origin and connection with the dramatic and literary framework are deeply studied.
