Se utiliza la perspectiva semiótica con el propósito de establecer las características que imprimen al lenguaje y el discurso la presentación de un contenido particular, el equilibrio químico. Partiendo de las restricciones que imponen al discurso la naturaleza de los contenidos y la comunidad de discurso, el autor de un texto construye su discurso, a partir del cual el lector debe armar un rompecabezas que le permita aprehender el contexto paradigmático y situacional usando como recursos el contexto sintagmático e intertextual. Se describen los distintos componentes que deben ser considerados para atribuir significados y se aplica el modelo para estudiar, utilizando el análisis de contenido, las representaciones pictóricas que utilizan tres autores para presentar el concepto de equilibrio. Encontramos que el modelo propuesto permite reconstruir los significados del discurso que el autor presenta.
Abstract
A semiotic perspective is used in order to establish the features impressed by language and discourse on particular subject matter content, the chemical equilibrium. Starting from the restrictions imposed to the discourse by the nature of the subject matter contents and by the discourse community, the textbook author constructs its own discourse which, in turn, must help the reader in grasping the paradigmatic and situational context, using as resource the sintagmatic and intertextual context. Different components that must be considered to assign meanings are described and a model is applied, using content analysis, to analyse pictorial representations used by three textbook authors to present the concept of chemical equilibrium. We found out that the proposed model allows the reconstruction of the discourse meanings used by the authors.
