摘要：Which is the expression of the oldness sexuality? Which are aged people’s positive attitudes in relation to the life and how do they face the death? These had been some of the questions that we raise when attending the film "Elsa and Fred”. To answer
these questions, we structuralize the present article in the following itens: a) love, erotism and sexuality in the oldness; b) depression and biomedicalization in the oldness; c) successful aging; d) familiar relationships of the old one; and e) illness and death. We systemize some reflections, concluding that it is possible and healthy to have an oldness with sexuality, that does not summarize to genitality, and that the cinema must contribute for the construction of new social representations, breaking the pathological vision of the oldness.
