摘要：In this study, effects of oxidized diet on growth and the liver of rainbow trout (Oncorhynchus mykiss
Walbaum, 1792) were determined. In present study was been carried out on two group (K and D
groups), a total of 200 rainbow trouts whose initial average weight was 100 g were used. The first
group was fed on peleted commercially prepared diet (K group) and the second on oxidized fish diet
(D group) during 51 days. At the end of the experiment, total weight increase, the condition factor,
the feed conversion rate, the haematological and histopathological were investigated. The results
show that, final average weights of the groups were 264.98g ±4.299 and 143.61g ±2.431 respectively.
According to the results of t-test, the differences between groups were found significant
(P<0.05). Moreover, feed conversions rates were 1.29 and 2.85 for K and D, respectively and, final
condition factors were estimated as 1.41 ±0.025 for K and 1.10 ±0.125 for D. At the end of the experiment,
the growth rate were significantly decreased in fish fed the oxidized, in haemoglobin and
haematocrit levels were not observed a significant change but in several tissues of fish such as liver,
spleen and kidney were determined some histopathological signs.
