摘要:This study evaluated the relation between sexual debut, dispositional factors, and mediation as predictors of consistency in condom use. A sample of 105 sexually active adolescents was evaluated through a multiple choice questionnarie. The results showed correlations between planning the first sexual intercourse, proposing condom use, and using protection. No differences between the sexes were observed. The most important correlations were the moment, alcohol use, emotional alteration, and excitation. The moment, the place of sexual debut, and the couple´s proposal to use a condom were the major predictors of consistency in condom use. The data obtained could have significant implications for the development of efective prevention programs for adolescent people.
