摘要：The annual SAA election gives SAA members the
opportunity to actively participate in SAA governance.
In an effort to facilitate the election process,
the Board of Directors has approved the move to an
election conducted via the web by a third-party
provider who specializes in web-based elections. This
change will benefit both the Society in its cost effectiveness
and benefit its members in its ease of use.
You no longer need to wait to receive candidates¡¯
statements and ballots in the mail, pay for return
postage, or make a trip to the mailbox. The Society will also realize
tremendous cost savings on printing and postage, not to
mention the time spent counting the paper ballots.
