摘要：The aims of this paper can be summarized at three points. First of them
is to review the literature in relation to the self-concept; at the same time, it
is intended to give information about the conceptualization and
measurement of the construct of the self-concept. Also, the factors which
play important roles in the process of development of the self-concept. The
second aim of this paper is to indicate the several explanations proposed by
major psychological approaches such as behavioristic, psychoanalystic,
humanistic, personalistic, symbolic-interactive, etc. Finally, this literature review
aims at presenting some knowledge of relationship between religion /
religiousness and the development of the self-concept.
