摘要:The aim of this study is to examine the relationships between the levels of anxiety and interest, motivations in respect to the teaching and educational activities among the students of the divinity faculty. The sampling group of study (259 students: 126 male, 130 female) are randomly selected from the pool of students of the divinity faculty of in Dokuz Eylul University. The age of sample ranges from 18 to 27 (mean age=21.61). As for the instruments used for gathering data, one is “Academical Motivation Inventory” and other is “State-trait Anxiety Inventory.” The analysis of the findings have shown that academical motivation is correlated with state anxiety (r=-.321), trait anxiety (r=-.366) and socio-economic status (r=.141) at p<.01 significant level. In addition, it has been found that state anxiety is correlated with academical motivation (r=-.321), socio-economic status (r=-.153) at p<.05 and trait anxiety (r=.575), gender (r=.206) at p<.01 significant level. Moreover, it has also been found that trait anxiety is correlated with academical motivation (r=-.366) and state anxiety (r=.575) at p<.01 significant level. The results showed that the difference between avarage points of state anxiety according to the students‟ gender at p<.001 is significant level (t= -3.356).
