摘要：This article includes comments and thoughts on a book
which has been recently published by Deslauriers and Hurtubise in
Canada.The authors have edited a book in which different specialists
from different countries have participated. On the basis of what they
suggest and conclude, the authors carry out different analyses on the
development of the Social Work profession, the current status of training,
the role and functions of social workers and some other questions,
which this comparative work dealing with different European but
also American countries reflects on.
