摘要：I made my first crocheted model of
the hyperbolic plane in 1997 when
I needed it for teaching a geometry
class at Cornell University. Since
then I have been experimenting with
this form, eventually making these
objects more like fiber arts sculptures.
It has been very interesting for
me to explore the hyperbolic plane,
making them with different radii, in
different materials, and with different
colors. It is like doing research,
just the main tool is crochet hook
