- 摘要：Inthispaper,wepresentasimplemethodtomodelpolyhedrawithplanarfaceswhichareboundedbyedgesthataresmooth(quadraticB-spline)curves.Thisclassofpolyhedraisintroducedearlierandconstructedaslimitsur-facesofavertextruncationsubdivisionschemewhichwasanextensionofChaikin’sconstruction.However,theconstructionmethodbasedonvertextruncationwasnotflexibleenough.Toobtainplanarpolyhedra,itrequiredtheinitialmanifoldmeshbeapolyhedraonlywithplanarfacesand -valencevertices.Inthispaper,weintroduceanewconstructionmethodthatguaranteestoconvertanypolygonalmesh,toapolyhedronwithplanarfacesandcurvededges.
