摘要：We present an analysis of volcanic threat of Nisyros island (Greece) based on a
catalogue of questions compiled for the USGS National Volcano Early Warning
System (NVEWS). We find that the score puts Nisyros in the league of volcanoes
posing a very high threat. US volcanoes with a comparable threat level include
Mt. St. Helens, Augustine and the Long Valley caldera.
