摘要：In this article, I discuss how cultural differences affects equal opportunity. Usually, liberals
and multiculturalists confront each other about if cultural beliefs should be considered as
free choices or as involuntary circumstances, which is crucial to evaluate if equal opportunity
exists or not on a given case. My opinion is that a new conception of the ideal of
equality of opportunity overcomes this confrontation.
