摘要：Under the Fisheries Act 1981, as amended by the Government Resources and Accounts Act 2000
(Audit of Public Bodies) Order 2004, and Fisheries Ministers’ directions made thereunder, the Secretary
of State for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs, the Cabinet Secretary for Rural Affairs and the
Environment (Scotland), the Minister for Rural Affairs (Wales) and the Secretary of State for Northern
Ireland (‘the Ministers’) with the consent of Treasury have directed the Sea Fish Industry Authority to
prepare for each financial year a statement of accounts in the form and on the basis set out in the
Accounts Direction. The accounts are prepared on an accruals basis and must give a true and fair view
of the state of affairs of the Sea Fish Industry Authority and of its income and expenditure, recognised
gains and losses and cash flows for the financial year.
