摘要：The Sea Fish Industry Authority (Seafish) was established under the Fisheries Act 1981. Under
the provisions of the Act all rights, obligations and property of the White Fish Authority and the
Herring Industry Board became rights, obligations and property of the Sea Fish Industry
Authority. The White Fish Authority and the Herring Industry Board ceased to exist on 1 October
1981.
The accounts have been prepared in a form directed by the Secretary of State for Environment,
Food and Rural Affairs, the Cabinet Secretary for Rural Affairs and the Environment (Scotland),
the Minister for Rural Affairs (Wales) and the Secretary of State for Northern Ireland (‘the
Ministers’) with the consent of Treasury and in accordance with Section 11 of the Fisheries Act
1981 as amended by the Government Resources and Accounts Act 2000 (Audit of Public
Bodies) Order 2004.
