摘要：The Corporation¡¯s financial statements report the financial position and results of operations of
CCC pursuant to the requirements of 31 U.S.C. 3515 (b). These statements have been prepared
from the accounting records of the Agency in FY 2006 and 2005 in accordance with generally
accepted accounting principles for Federal entities and policies prescribed in OMB Circular A-
136, Financial Reporting Requirements. The statements are in addition to the external financial
reports used to monitor and control budgetary resources, which are also prepared from CCC¡¯s
general ledger. These financial statements are a component of the U.S. Government¡¯s financial
statements, a sovereign entity. The Agency¡¯s financial statements, which appear in the Financial
Section of this report, received an unqualified audit opinion for the fiscal years ended September
30, 2006 and 2005.
