摘要:The morphometrical analysis of the longitudinal profiles of the river beds within the Giumalau
Massive indicates the existence of a more advanced evolution estate for the river beds tributary to the Moldova
hydrographical basin compared to the profiles of the river beds that are the tributaries of the Bistrita
hydrographical basin. This evolution difference is the result of the Moldova¡¯s local base level that is lower
than that of the Bistrita¡¯s. Based on quantitative data, this may indicate that the drainage network of the
Moldova hydrographical basin is older.
