摘要：In the analysed perimeter, there are three well-shaped settled levels of landslide. The releasing
factors of the landslide are: the Jiu¡¯s deepening below the plastic purple clays the effect of which was the
discharge of phreatic water on their top, bringing thus to the appearance of a landslide surface; the Jiu¡¯s
deviation towards the right slope; the subsidence area from Craiova; man¡¯s influence. The landslide was
settled by means of afforestation, but the clearing of certain sectors and the unbalancing of the natural
slope due to the use of the sand from the landslide mass brought to the reactivation of certain sectors of
the landslide.
