摘要：The article analyses the present situation of the geographical space that includes the Bălăciţa Piedmont and the Central Oltenia Plain. The point of interest is represented by woodlands and forests, the focus being laid upon their state of health, as well as on the diminution of the surfaces that they used to cover. There are mainly highlighted the elements with negative influence upon the quality of the woods and it is also proposed a certain thematic for the rehabilitation and ecological reconstruction projects that regard the area..
