摘要:This theoric essay intent evidenciate the necessity of integrate the internal
and external environment in the hotelier sector to obtain competitive advantages
that sustain the strategic positioning in relation to the changes and to the
environment pressures. Its discuss the Porter’s Five Forces approach (1986),
that establish industry structure as determinant factor of the competitive
advantage in the organizations, the Resource Based View of Barney (1991) that
establish internal resources as source of competitive advantage and the
Relational Approach of Dyer and Singh (1998) that point obtainment of
competitive advantage by inter-organizations relations. Besides these theoric
approaches, its necessary to include in the analyze another elements that
determine as managers perceives and interprets (attribution of sense to that was
perceived) organizational and environmental aspects and, consequently, adopts
strategies in sense to acquire competitive advantages that guarantee the
organization survival.
