摘要：The development of Fisheries 2030 - a vision for how we want
our fi sheries to look, and a strategy to deliver on the vision,
involves engaging with iwi and stakeholders to ensure we are
all prepared for the years to come.
Progress is continuing with the strategy and we¡¯ve spent the
last few months engaging with stakeholders and getting their
input on where they want the fi shery to be in 20 years time.
We¡¯ve had meetings with iwi and stakeholders and we¡¯ve
made some good progress ¨C the meetings have been positive
and people have been engaged. Recently we also held the fi rst
of two multi stakeholder workshops.
The next step will be to draft the vision and strategy to deliver a
draft document to Ministers for their consideration in late 2008.
There will then be formal consultation on the draft document
through the early part of 2009.
